Single "Here I Go Impossible Again / All This Time Still Falling Out Of Love"   Here they go again indeed with a tune that has that unmistakable Erasure sound plastered all over it. Thankfully, Andy and Vince have ditched their half-baked attempts at cover versions - and guitars for that matter - reverting to the synth heavy production that made them Top 10 regulars throughout the late '80s and '90s. This typically catchy nugget sounds remarkably like a long lost Dollar classic. Oodles of Andy's dreamy, harmonious vocals, while Vince delivers an electro disco groove for peroxide blonde couples to dance around their handbags to.

Synthpop survivors Andy Bell and Vince Clarke continue to enjoy a remarkable longevity. Considering their sound is heavily reliant on ever-evolving technology, they have never become outmoded or found themselves stranded in the past. The reason behind this is their excellent song-writing ability, a fine balance of drama, heartfelt melancholy and camp electronic energy that has seen them score a seemingly endless stream of hits. This latest single carries the same effervescence and demonstrates Clarke's ear for an affecting melody is still as sharp as ever. "Here I Go Impossible Again" begins in subdued fashion but the soaring chorus really elevates it into classic Erasure territory - good enough to get the goosebumps going. "All This Time Still Falling Out Of Love", meanwhile, is more dancefloor oriented, taking a deep bass throb and simple synth hook and adding Bell's defiant lyrics. Both tracks could easily have been written at any stage of the duo's career, but whether that makes them timeless or dated, this will continue the trend "Sometimes" began in 1986 and become yet another chart success.
